Sailing through the Ganges is a wonderful trip and a sort of a mild adventure in which both old and young can enjoy. In this tour you will be accompanied by migratory birds and will also enjoy the play full sight of the Ganga Dolphin.

Sailing down stream in a wooden country boat from Mirzapur to Varanasi experiencing the actual Indian villages situated on either side of the riverbank which you can see and feel is a leisurely trip with lots of fun. In addition to this sailing is the most colourful and interesting stretch of this renowned River Gnga with beautiful landscape, old temples, migratory birds, simple country-side, and people performing there religious duties on the river Ghats.

Further down is Mirzapur which is often referred as the carpet country. Sailing down the river watching ripples streaking the flat water and the occasional splash appears when a river Dolphin makes a brief appearance. Sailing downstream we reach Chunar, there the river turns sharply near the imposing Chunar fort which seems to rise vertically from the water. The sun rise and sun sets are spectacular. Pink Orange fray and Blue infusing the placid landscape with sudden torrents of burning pyre the journey ends at Varanasi the city of Ghats.

Day 01: Arrival Mirzapur from Allahabad/Varanasi - Chunar

On arrival every passenger will be welcomed in the traditional Indian way with a garland & Tilak (Kumkum & Rice) and thereafter a small pooja will be performed for the Guests for their safe journey. Meet the sailing crew and transfer on the boat. Once you will be transferred to the boat the sail will start. There will be hot lunch on board. Mirzapur is famous for its carpets and handicrafts of copper and brass, so it will be good to find some time to visit the small villages with their clay and straw huts, shaded by a few trees where you will experience a life of villager’s art of making beautiful handmade carpets. Overnight stay will be at Mirzapur in dome shape tents. Enjoy the night under the beautiful, serene and twinkling stars.

Day 02: Mirzapur to Chunar

After having an early breakfast sailing will begin again towards Chunar. Enjoy the good-natured sight of Ganga, together with the Dolphins; admire the beautiful migratory birds, visit Medieval Fort of Chunar, built by legendry King Vikramaditya, For the Uttar Pradesh Police now the fort has been converted as training centre. There will be hot lunch on board. Overnight stay will be at chunar in dome shape tents.

Day 03: Chunar to Varanasi

After having an early breakfast we sail for Varanasi. En route we stop at Ramnagar where our sailing voyage to Varanasi gets finished; we visit the fort, testimony of former princely families of Varanasi. We finally landed in Benares, the holy city of Hinduism, now called by its old name, Varanasi, the "city between two rivers ', the Varuna and Assi. If the Ganges washes all impurities, Benares releases reincarnation ... Surrounded by a crowd of pilgrims on the steps of Dasaswamedh Ghat, we witness the evening puja. Overnight stay will be in the hotel at Varanasi.

Day 04: Varanasi

In the morning after breakfast go for the temple tour of Varanasi visiting Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, Sankatmochan, BHU, Annapurna Temple, Sarnath where Buddha delivered his first sermon or do some shopping before returning to the airport for your return flight.
